    Mivel a hangszer és az előadó rendkívül sokoldalú, így a koncerten is ennek megfelelően igen színes válogatás hallható a legkülönbözőbb zenei stílusokból: Edith Piaf francia sanzonja, a tüzes ritmusú baszk fandango és az orosz szerelmes románc ugyanolyan hitelesen szólal meg, mint Astor Piazzolla argentin tangója, de Mozart és a Balkán legszebb dallamai is épp oly békésen megférnek egymás mellett, mint a legszebb magyar népdalok és a szabadon szárnyaló jazzes hangvételű improvizációk.

    It is difficult to define the genre of their music, as it contains elements of classical music, jazz and folk, enchanting the audience with a real 21st century music. Improvisation plays a role of crucial importance in their repertoire; their instrumental virtuosity and the rich dynamics of their performance is a real energy bomb!

  • Mihaly Borbely & Zoltan Orosz’s concert

    The duo formation is one of the most intimate and probably the most difficult way of performance. The combination of instruments is also exceptionally exciting: different wind instruments are coupled with the amazing versatility of the accordion, at a concert, which is characterized by releasing and innovative spirit and passionate performance, so typical of the performers.
    The concert programme includes a wide selection of genres, which are often very far from each other, but thanks to the interprertation of the performers they magically come close to each other, interact each other, creating an exceptionally colourful musical world.

    The concert programme includes Hungarian folk song adaptations with special instrumentation, French chanson, Russian gipsy song, Argentinian tango, world music, jazz, film music, but the artist’s own compositions are also parts of the programme, Southern Slav folk music is given great emphasis in the concert; this genre is especially important to the artist as he comes from Bácsalmás.
    At the concert the music of the Balkans is performed with elements of jazz and modern orchestration, so improvisation has a crucial part during the performance of the pieces based on folk music.
